Bark Blowers' delivery trucks can accommodate a variety of dumping scenarios.
When deciding where to have your product dumped,
take a look around and above the area.
Are there overhead wires? Is the area on a steep slope?
Do you have a long driveway or flag lot?
Please keep in mind that our trucks do not leave a paved surface or hop curbs.
Feel free to mark the area with a tarp, cone, sign or even a sidewalk chalk 'X' to mark the spot!
Delivery fees are based on the distance of your property from our Tigard retail yard.
Delivery fees are discounted on orders of 1unit (7.4 yards) or more.
HERE ARE SOME COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT DELIVERY
Q: What time will my delivery arrive?
A: It is not possible to give an exact time for any delivery. We do not require anyone to be present for deliveries. Your delivery will arrive between 7:30am - 5pm (or later if required) on your scheduled day. There are a number of reasons our drivers do their own routing and need active, moment-to-moment flexibility in their delivery routes. There may be traffic delays, a prior delivery may have taken more time than estimated etc.
The driver will call you when they are about 15-30 minutes away from your property. The end goal is to get all deliveries done as safely, quickly and efficiently as possible. You may request to be the first stop, if it is available.
The first stop is 7:30am - 8:00am. If scheduling allows, we can accommodate a request for an "A.M." or "P.M." delivery.
A.M. means between 8:00am - 12:00pm. P.M. means 12:00pm - 5:00pm (or later if required)
NOTE: Since drivers actively route themselves, the office will not know what time a delivery will be made.

Q: What is a cubic yard?
A: It is equivalent to 27 cubic feet. It covers 150 square feet at 2” deep or 100 square feet at 3” deep.
Any pick-up truck can carry at least one cubic yard.
Q: What is a unit?
A: One unit is 7.4 cubic yards. It covers 1000 square feet at 2” deep or 750 square feet at 3” deep.
Q: How deep should I put it?
A: We recommend at least 2” if you have a base layer down. If you are seeing roots of plants or bare dirt, we recommend 3” deep. For weed control, it requires 4" - 6" to see any prolonged suppression.
Q: How much can Bark Blowers’ delivery trucks carry?
A: Our multiple trucks vary in size to suit your needs. We have the ability to deliver up to 3 units of product at once.
*Rock and gravel deliveries can be 5 yards at once, but may be less based on weight.
Q: How do I know how much product I need?
A: To determine how many yards of product you need, just do a few measurements. Measure the length and width (in feet) of the area(s) you will put the product in. Next, multiply the length by the width to get the square feet of each area. Finally, add the square footage for all the areas to get one final number of required product. Make note of how deep you want to go as well.

Q: Can you deliver two products at once?
A: Yes, depending on how much and which products you need. There is a $50 fee, in addition to the standard delivery fee, to physically split the truck for two products.
Q: Can you dump in two different places?
A: Yes, but keep in mind that it will not be a precise dump. Our truck will simply tip a bit to let some product fall out, then move to the second area and dump the rest.
Q: Can I split the order with my neighbor?
A: You can split your order with a neighbor directly across the street or directly to the side of your house. Please keep in mind that the split will not be a precise dump. Our truck will simply tip a bit to let some product fall out, then move to the second location and dump the rest.
