At Bark Blowers Inc., we’re interested in helping anyone, no matter the size of the project. We specialize in bark dust blowing and delivery in the Portland Metro area. We offer a wide variety of bark and barkdust products, soil mixes, wood/play chips and mulch; as well as rock, sand and gravel. We'll help you in any way we can through your project's completion.
5-Way Brahma Soil is our custom soil mix for your raised garden beds or grow operation. We blend composted animal bedding, aged hemlock bark, pumice, sand, and chicken manure into a soil that is ready for planting flowers, veggies, or supporting established plants. We have been custom mixing this blend for over twenty years and use it in our gardens at home and at our Tigard location.
The Hemlock tree produces a rich organic bark that is perfect for use as ground cover, in your garden or on pathways. A majestic forest product, our Medium Aged Hemlock is composted for 1 - 2 years to give it light brown to deep chocolate brown color. Aged hemlock is also known as "dark hemlock" and is considered sliver-less making it popular for family homes.
